Scruff the dog is a commissioned character that someone refused to pay for, thus Jaredthefox92 decided to modify him and re-use him. He is a trickster type character and is known to be of a joking sort as well. His powers are simple, he is gyro-kinetic and can manipulate gravity, in which he uses rather irresponsibly.

Scruff was originally commissioned to Jaredthefox92 to be be a canine like variant of Shadow and Sonic, however the commissioner was not clear when he stated he wanted a hedgehog and said that he had canine features before denying said commission. Thus Scruff's head looks akin to Shadows and Sonics, despite his head having fur and no quails. However, Scruff doesn't wear gloves and he has furry arms.

Scruff is barely sane, thus he takes on a lot of qualities found in characters such as Bean.He is known to go from harmlessly juvenile to destructive and ignorant of his actions as to how they effect others around him. While he seems to crave mischief more than outright malice, he sometimes goes too far at the expense of others.
